Healthy Alternative to Fast Food |
|
I’ve done really good getting my family to eat healthier,
even my little picky eaters are starting to eat healthier
alternatives to things. It’s great when you can do this as a
family and everyone is still happy with their meals.
Something I recently was able to introduce to the girls was
some great products from a company called GoPicnic...

A friend who has a school age daughter lamented to me the
other day about Lunchables. Sure, they're easy to pack, but
they are, how shall I say this, not the most nutritious option
for lunchtime.
Not two days later I was sent some Go Picnic MightyMunch
Kid Meals. Ironic, don't you think?
Go
Picnic markets a full line of ready-made boxed meals, all of which are
free of MSG, High Fructose Corn Syrup and Trans-fats.

Review - GoPicnic
|
|
Today's Monday Review is brought to you by GoPicnic, a
company specializing in ready-made snackbox meals.
In 2005, GoPicnic provided shelf-stable meals to a major US
airline. Since then, they have expanded and now offer over 25
different meal and snack options for adults and kids,
including vegetarian, gluten-free and kosher alternatives.
All GoPicnic snackboxes are peanut free. Their MightyMunch
kids meals are tree-nut free too. Plus, if you like to avoid
trans fat, high fructose corn syrup and MSG, GoPicnic doesn't
add any of those either. Complete ingredient information is
available on their boxes and website. Read carefully as some
products are manufactured on the same line, or produced in a
facility, that processes top allergens.

Out of the mouths of babes. My youngest daughter mentioned
to me that she wanted to become a vegetarian. When I asked her
why she told me she wanted to eat more healthy. That simple
sentence got me to thinking. As a mom I was not giving my
children enough food options. But I did not even know where to
look. During my search I came across Go Picnic.

| Kids Meals, but better. GoPicnic |
My kids and I were very excited about getting products
from the company GoPicnic. We received 3 kids meals from
their “Mighty Munch Kids Meal” collection. Each box
contains an entire Healthy lunch along with a prize. I
thought about keeping the lunch boxes in the car for those
days we were just too busy to be home for lunch. But
then I remembered a day when I had to send my kids to my
sisters for the whole day to be babysat. I always send food
with my kids when someone babysits them, because my kids like
to eat! Although, everyday they saw the boxes in the
pantry they asked if they could have them, they were thrilled
when I let them each bring one to my sisters. And they
loved everything inside!
